Hello Friends,
The goal of any organization is to drive the business to a better way where profitability is
achieved in a better manner and stakeholder management is done to the expectations. An organization
is bound to develop strategies that a line to the business requirements and information technology or
information science should provide the required backbone for the business strategy to be effectively
driven with the valuable information available and analytical process that can be conducted.
The core of the organization is the business, the way the organization achieves it is based on
organization strategy, and the way information is handled and managed provides better opportunities
for organization strategy to be developed through information strategies. It is very important for an
organization to identify the business requirement and strategies and develop organization ways of
achieving the business goals and use information technology to the maximum possible extent to deliver
the same goal in a strategic way. The main idea of the organization and its structure is a longer-term
goal plan that needs to be achieved effectively over the period is requires the processes and tasks of the
organization to be aligned accordingly and the information technology should enable an and provide the
necessary support the decision-making capability to the organization management team to develop
methods that are aligned with the organization business goals and strategies (Kangas, 2003).
With the dynamic nature of the business and the market, realignment of the business strategies
regularly provides a better way for the organization to stay in the market effectively while providing the
services offered, the organization strategy of operations should support the business initiatives and the
information signs or information technology should allow organization strategies to be effectively
delivered through proper control, precision, efficient utilization, information for decision-making which
in turn helps the business strategy to be delivered effectively and the goal of the business is achieved
efficiently (Kangas, 2003).

Why is it important for business strategy to drive organizational strategy and IS strategy? What might
happen if business strategy was not the driver?
The business strategy gives the spine to the entire business operations and goals. All together for a
relationship to have an enough synchronized business strategy and IS strategy, the association’s
business strategy must be opposed similarly as wrapped up. The business strategy outfits the various
levelled and IS strategy with the standards and urgent their subject matters, which considered the
pioneers of those forte units to strategies and send exercises reliant on the goals and goals set out by
the business strategy. The structures of the business strategy are also fundamental from the cost power,
to the detachment to the point of convergence of the business, the way wherein the business
framework spread out gives the reason to the various levelled and IS procedure. The business strategy
portrays factors, for instance, how the IS strategy manages the hardware/programming/data, etc. inside
the organization. If the business technique is to seek after a cost-authority framework, anyway IS
tirelessly needs to override hardware and in the long run raising their uses, it isn’t useful for ensuring
that the association can offer the most diminished cost thing.
On the other hand, if the legitimate strategy isn’t as per the business method, for example, if an
association can’t amass estimations that offer responses to how customers are responding to another
movement to help separate a thing, by then the business strategy is in risk to miss the mark. A condition
wherein IT improperly influenced the business strategy begins from a past advancement arranged
association I worked. The point of convergence of the association pivoted around giving a remarkable
and vital customer experience while providing extraordinary customer care. Sooner or later, a
customer’s email organizes got latent due to an IT botch related to frameworks organization issue that
spoke with the gear and the customer’s contraption. The botch should have quickly settled, and the
customer sent on their way. Regardless, the IT framework didn’t have a strategy to ensure the customer
had a remarkable relationship with the IT gathering. The customer ended up having a miserable
experience, and it contemplated the entire business strategy since it transformed into a PR issue. Above
discussed points is an instance of how despite the way that there was a business system set up to
ensure synchronized educating over the association, that a mistake from the IT side can influence the
general customer knowledge.
