The Mini Literature/Resources Review must be 1-2 pages in length not counting the title and reference page, written according to current APA guidelines, and will be submitted through Turnitin. Turnitin is an anti-plagiarism software used by Embry-Riddle. View specific assignment details for the Mini Literature/Resources Review in Module 4.For my research paper, I would like to focus on Employees in a Global Environment. Particularly the lack of female and non-Caucasian employees within the Aviation maintenance workforce. During this research, I will focus on the company Lockheed Martin.I’ve seen a predominance of Caucasian men in key official occupations, thus an exclusion from other races and sex. This has been since the start of Lockheed Martin Manufacturing. Lockheed’s history reflects its own conventions as well as wide societal examples in America. Aviation is changing alongside our general public, in spite of the fact that the work numbers for the business recommend that change has come gradually. One approach to guarantee that aviation has the future inclusive workforce it needs is to guarantee that flying employments are available to all individuals from society and maintained. There is unmistakably undiscovered potential in groups that have been generally underrepresented in the business. Considerably more vital is to guarantee that no individual is avoided from the occupation he or she may wish to seek after because of sex or race.At a quick glance, I found the 2018 Lockheed Martin Annual Global Diversity and Inclusion Report. The report shows the status of initiatives that the company is using to become more diverse and inclusive. This report will be useful in compiling the current status of the company, and where changes may be requires in the future.I would like to work with the same tutor who completes this literature review on my research paper.Running Head: TITLE IN CAPITAL LETTERS, see current APA manual about Running Head

Introduction
Use Section 1.02 in the APA 6th Ed manual for general guidance on writing a Literature
Review. Use 2.05 from the APA manual for writing an introduction. The introduction should be
no more than one or two paragraphs.
Research Question
State your research question. Your research question should be one or two sentences. It
must be a statement that identifies the study or research. There are many websites available to
assist in writing a research question. Remember to review the assignment instructions and
evaluation rubric. Remember this is a research paper and not a conversation, so avoid use of first
person. Do not use “we” as you are the only author!
Literature Review (analyze the literature)
The literature reviews your references. It should be a paragraph for each
reference. Remember you will be graded on peer review research too. You must identify
and analyze your literature. Do not put the link or full reference in your paper. The links
will be placed on the reference page. You should have in-text citations. In the analyses,
think overview and a point for the literature review. Keep the flow by grouping articles
by subject or point to make. Look for key terms and key statistics. Select useful quotes
that you may want to include in your review. Important: If you copy the exact words
from an article, be sure to cite the page number as you will need this information should
you decide to use the quote when you write your review (direct quotes must always be
accompanied by page references). You may want to emphasize, strengths and weakness
in the articles or research. Make notes of trends or patterns as this may also identify gaps

in the literature. You may also want to identify relationships between articles.
Remember to stay focused on your topic and evaluate references used for currency and
coverage with dates that cover the last five years. If there has been a landmark study
older than five years you may want to note that study.
As you write the review, identify a list to remember (Galvan, 2006). Keep in
mind you are writing in APA format and not listing research.
Identify the broad problem area, but avoid global statements.
Early in the review, indicate why the topic being reviewed is important.
Distinguish between research finding and other sources of information.
Indicate why certain studies are important. If you are commenting on the
timeliness of a topic, be specific in describing the time frame.
If citing a classic or landmark study, identify it as such. If a landmark study was
replicated, mention the study and indicate the results of the replication.
Discuss other literature reviews on your topic. Refer the reader to other reviews
on issues that you will not be discussing in details.
Justify comments such as, “no studies were found.”
Avoid long lists of nonspecific references.
If the results of previous studies are inconsistent or widely varying, cite them
separately.

Cite all relevant references in the review section of thesis, dissertation, or journal
article (para 81-90).
Galvan states to develop a coherent essay (2006), keeping in mind,
If your review is long, provide an overview near the beginning of the review.
Near the beginning of a review, state explicitly what will and will not be covered.
Specify your point of view early in the review: this serves as the thesis statement
of the review.
Aim for a clear and cohesive essay that integrates the key details of the literature
and communicates your point of view (a literature is not a series of annotated
articles).
Use subheadings, especially in long reviews.
Use transitions to help trace your argument (para 91-96).
Summary
Provide some type of summary to tie the articles together.
Thesis Statement
Focus your ideas in a sentence or two that may comment on your position and presents
the topic again. This should help you tell the reader what the paper is about and your argument
focus.

References
Your references start on a new page. They are double-spaced and use a hanging indent. Find
proper reference format in the current APA Style Manual. Below is an example of an APA Style
(6th edition) format for a textbook.

ed.). Glendale, CA: Pyrczak Publishing.
