Financial/Analytical Question #3: Note that there are conceptual
issues in each of the 4 Financial Assignments. You should
specifically identify any assumptions that you make and justify
the decision(s) made.
FAQ#3: BENEFICIAL HEALTH CLINIC
The Beneficial Health Clinic is considering opening a clinic in a downtown
area. It is anticipated that over 90% of patients will work within the 5 block
area surrounding the Clinic.
To assist in their decision top management has commissioned a study to
assess the market potential of this densely populated workplace.
The questionnaire included the following questions (among many others):
i)
Do you have a regular physician?
ii)
Would you use the/try the Clinic if necessary?
iii)
Are you?
a) Male
b) Female.
The data presented below have been obtained from a “representative”
sample of employees in the 5 block radius of the Clinic.
