Question 2 :

Plagiarism is when you take another person’s work or ideas and pass them off as your own. If
you look at a friend’s paper and just steal her ideas, that’s plagiarism. If you take information
from a book or website and don’t cite your source, that also can be plagiarism.
Duke University’s library website defines plagiarism like this: “Scholarly authors generously
acknowledge their debts to predecessors by carefully giving credit to each source. Whenever
you draw on another’s work, you must specify what you borrowed whether facts, opinions, or
quotations and where you borrowed it from.”
The consequences of plagiarism are always severe. While plagiarism cases are common in
schools and academia, there are plenty other instances where plagiarism is abundantly
prevalent. No one is unaware of Madonna, the pop singer, and songwriter. She has gained huge
success and has won several awards due to her edgy and catchy songs. But did you know that
even the renowned singer and performer Madonna sparked controversy when media accused
her of plagiarism? Salvatore Acquaviva, a songwriter from Belgium, accused Madonna of
plagiarising part of his song “Ma Vie Fout L’camp” and using it in her hit song Frozen in 1998.
The Belgian court upheld his claim, and Madonna was asked to withdraw her song for sale from
the country.
There’s an easy way to avoid plagiarizing: Do your own work. Don’t cheat, and when you use
information from another source, cite the source properly. Talk to your professors if you’re
worried about it but remember that as long as you don’t steal from others, you’ll be fine.
The essence of plagiarism is crediting or citing the source of the origin. It is all about
acknowledgment. Although vague and unclear, it has become a norm in our society and one
must follow the rules or face the consequences. Stealing someone else’s creativity and
originality and presenting it as your own is off limits and should be treated sternly.

Because of the many other sources that plagiarism has occurred. Complete plagiarism will occur
where the researcher used to take a manuscript that is someone else (Chauhan, 2018). When
the researcher will also use to take the secondary research source then the plagiarism will
occur. The complete plagiarism and the source-based plagiarism will able to increase the
citation number of the references. While the data falsification will involve in the changing of the
data that helps to give false information. The direct plagiarism will occur when the researcher

the infraction to the academic and the rules of ethics. This will also affect the operations of the
business that the clients are unable to attract towards the business (Ferro & Martins, 2016). It is
the word-for-word section transcription of someone’s work. Self-plagiarism has occurred with
someone able to submit their previous work. The mosaic plagiarism is also another type of
plagiarism that someone able to take content from the sources without using quotation marks.
This type of plagiarism is sometimes called the “pitch Writing”. When a person able to neglects
